We seek entrepreneur and family-owned companies or corporate divestitures that have a dominant position in their niche sub-sectors of B2B services, distribution and highly engineered manufacturing. Companies with revenues of $15 – $200 million and earnings of $3 – $15 million located in the U.S. and Canada.

We craft flexible solutions which achieve owner objectives in a transaction but maximize operational flexibility for the company going forward. We prefer to be the first institutional investor in our companies and purposely use conservative amounts of leverage.

Our management teams play a crucial role in value creation. All of our portfolio companies have widespread equity participation which aligns the interests of Hamilton Robinson, the management team and our limited partners. Shared ownership is a cornerstone of our investment strategy.
